CSTA National Conference Wrap-Up
CSTA held their National Conference in Phoenix from July 7th - 10th. Thanks for a special scholarship fund, over 100 Arizona teachers were able to attend and several board members of CSTA-Arizona were part of the larger planning committee (maybe you saw some of us moving chairs around on stage).

Mark the date - next year's conference is in Arlington, VA from July 11th-15th. Registration and speaker proposals open on August 1st!
We will be hosting our CSTA-Arizona Fall Summit on November 2nd in Prescott, AZ in partnership with the Yavapai County Education Service Agency (YCESA). The event will feature several breakout sessions for teachers across all grade levels. A travel stipend will be provided for teachers who attend. More information will be available soon, but you can already register & reserve your space in the link below.

CSTA-AZ Tucson Meetup

We will be hosting a local back-to-school meetup in Tucson on Thursday August 8th at the University of Arizona. Our focus is on reconnecting with our growing community as the school year starts & updates from CSTA-Arizona and the Department of Education. Come have some food, connect with other Computer Science educators, learn about upcoming opportunities through CSTA-Arizona, and help plan future meetups.
