This event is primarily for K-14 classroom teachers of any discipline. We will focus on how to use the micro:bit device - a small physical device with buttons and an grid of LEDs - in a variety of contexts and subject areas. You do not need to already have a device to participate.
The Data Sciences Academy, in partnership with CSTA-Arizona, is excited to announce the Equip Your Genius: Parallax Training in Micro:bit event happening Sunday, December 3rd starting at 11am. We will convene at the University of Arizona main campus.
 
This event is primarily for K-14 classroom teachers of any discipline. This event will feature a keynote address from Ari Alvarez, Vice President of Parallax and workshops exploring uses of the micro:bit in classrooms for middle and high school teachers interested in bringing programming and creative problem solving into their classrooms. Lunch will be provided.
